what office in Tennessee to apply for working permit and is the process?

I would like to know which office can I ask the right process of applying for working permit and social security number. Now I married with my lovely wife who is US citizen and we live in Murfreeboro, TN. Can anyone give me the right office to go ask the step of the process, I do not want to pay for lawyer or do it on my own.
