How to i stay calm at medical front office?
I got a new job working at a medical front office and worked for 3 days. I get overwhelmed by phone calls and handling/filing new patients. I can manage them but I'd like a better way to unstress myself. I noticed when I get overwhelmed, I forget certain things.

- Is this your first time working in the medical field? If so, you are probably not used to the fast paced environment. Perhaps you are better suited working elsewhere where the job isn't as overwhelming as this one is like working as a cashier or medical biller
- Always love the job you are doing.Think every time that only this year I will do this job and only few months are left to complete I will get a year experience to go to next position. If you start thinking like this and working hard you will remember the things correctly since by few months your thought will be in another position or seniority.Like this you will be getting good experience and you don't find any improvement in ur position, after 3 years find out or go for another same type of job where you can get good highec in salary and relax to work since you will be having 3yrs experience in hand and plenty of opportunities.
- Focus on one thing at a time. In your case, it's not like you are working in the ER and someone will die if they have to wait until you get off the phone! Walk through the steps in your head that you need to take. If you feel somewhat shy or unsure of your abilities this can also cause your feelings. Keep reassuring yourself of your skills and the fact that you CAN do this job. You did get hired in the first place, right? Get organized. And get your desk organized too. Are you really swamped? Can you ask for help from your co-workers? Lastly, maybe the job *isn't* for you. But I'd give it a fair shot first. You are really new, remember. Good luck!
