How can I get my phone back from the office?

Ok, my 12 year old cousin wants to know how to get a phone back from the school office. Your parents are supposed to pick it up, but she will get in trouble. What's an excuse?

1. call the schooland pretend to be her mom and ask the secretary to give the phone to her because "you're working late". ;)
2. she can say someone was holding her phone and she was just checking it to make sure of what they did i just she got caught using it when she was not suppose to be
3. This happened to my grand daughter when I texed her while she was at school. She went to the office, first she apologized then said she forgot she had her phone in her back pack. They gave her phone back to her and let her go with a warning.
