What is the 'opera front office system'?

I gather its a form of computer system used in the hospitality industry, but I'm wondering how complicated it is, or if there's anywhere online I can learn a bit more about it.

1. Ive never heard of it, perhaps you mean open office which is available from open office .org. This is a completely free office suite that is compatible with Microsoft office and is made by Sun Microsystems.
